The first Nicole Frese Memorial Fund events benefited two high school seniors at Washington Township High School, with each winner receiving a check for $500.00 for their education.
In the 2005, we began to distribute fuinds to two very worthy causes, the Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ and the Camden County Animal Shelter. Nicole loved children and animals — her cat, Tugger, was a best pal — and we both know she’d be thrilled that the funds are being used in this fashion.
Checks for $500.00 were cut to both charities after subsequent events, and we have continued to grow the Fund in the hopes that, eventually, it will be self-generating, and that money will continue to be drawn by both charities long after we are gone. In that small way, we will know that Nicole continues to live on forever.
